No, unfortunately we do not service outside the USA. Maybe one day, we would really like to.
The only cost you pay on a diagnostic with no repair is shipping.
You are responsible for shipping the device in. Initial diagnostics are free. You only pay return shipping if you don't approve the repairs.
We work on devices in the order they come in, so this depends on the current workload. However, anything that we have the parts in stock for is typically completed and shipped back out within a week.
We have an optional web portal that you can sign up for after submitting a ticket, which will allow you to view the status at any time. Email, text, or phone updates are available as well.
We always recommend backing up important data before mailing in your device if possible. There is no guarantee on any data, especially on devices with liquid damage or failing storage drives. Our priority is to save any data we can, but some data loss is unavoidable for certain types of repair.
Parts are warrantied for one year, except where a longer warranty is offered by the manufacturer. Labor is warrantied for life, meaning if we made a mistake we will make it right.
If the repair goes beyond the approved cost, we will contact you with our findings before doing the work and inform you of the new costs. We will never surprise you with an additional fee at checkout, all work is to be approved before completion.
Payment is typically rendered after the repair is completed, but before return shipping. In instances where a very expensive part is required, a deposit on that part order may be collected before the order is placed.
If a device is determined to be a 'no fix' during the diagnostic, there is no additional charge. You can pay for return shipping and receive the unit back.
In some cases, if a risky repair was approved but fails there will be a no-fix fee which is agreed upon up front.
Even if an individual device is not fixed, data recovery or migration may still be possible. These options will also be discussed.
We can use both! Sometimes, the aftermarket parts are better than original. Sometimes they are far cheaper. In a lot of cases, original parts are simply not available for purchase. We will never pass off aftermarket parts as being original.
Some manufacturers, such as Apple, do sell original parts for repair. In those instances, customers given the option along with an estimated final price.
